Client User Guide:

To take the JPAQ, without your results being assigned to a clinician first go to: http://www.seinstitute.com/jpaq/ and click the “Take The Survey” link at the top right of the page. You will then be taken to a page instructing “Have a token from your clinician? Enter it here:” This is only for those who already have purchased a credit to take the JPAQ or have been assigned a survey token from their clinician.

If you have already purchased a token or been assigned one from a clinician, you may copy paste the 32 character long code into the box on this page and click submit. If you have not used your token and have correctly entered it into this box you will be taken to the JPAQ for completion.

If you already used your token or entered it incorrectly you will be given a message stating “Invalid token or token has already been used”

If you have not purchased a token or have not been assigned one from a clinician you may purchase access to take the survey by clicking the “Buy Now” button. Doing this will take you to a PayPal purchase page where you will be instructed on how to complete the purchase. Once you have completed your purchase through PayPal, you will be taken to the survey.

After you have completed the survey, click the “submit” button at the bottom of the page where you will be taken to the program's interpretation of your results, and a customized summery of your JPAQ profile.

MANAGE TOKENS

From here you can: Purchase additional tokens, see how many tokens you have remaining, un-assign an unused token from a client, or take a client with an assigned token to their survey for completion.

On this page you will see: how many tokens you have available for use, a list of purchased and assigned tokens, whom the tokens have been assigned to and rather or not the tokens has been used.

If a token has not been used you will be given the options to “Del” or “Take” in the action column.

  • Clicking “Del” will un-assign the token from the client listed in the row and credit your available tokens.
  • Clicking “Take,” will bring you to the 72 question JPAQ for completion.

If you do not have any survey tokens remaining or wish to purchase additional tokens, you may do so by clicking the "Buy Credits" button at the top of this page. Once you click this button you will be brought to a PayPal page with options on purchasing additional tokens.

My Clients

From here you can: add a new client to your account, review your clients and their survey results, purchase additional Tokens for surveys, review your remaining credits, and assign credits to clients to use for taking the survey.

To add a new client to your account: Click the "New Client" button. From there your will be able to enter your clients name, and contact information. At the minimum, you must enter your Client's First and Last name, and email address. (The email address you enter is the one in which your client will be sent an invitation to take the survey when you assign them a survey token.) Once you have the proper fields entered, click the "save" button. If you did not enter the fields correctly, you will remain on this page and the fields that are required to complete will be highlighted. If you correctly entered your client's information you will then be brought back to the "My Client's" page, where you should see a list of previously added clients and your most recently entered client.

For a client to take a survey, you must assign a survey token to them first. You can review how many token you have available to assign at the top of this page where it says, "Remaining Credits: __"

If you do not have any survey tokens remaining or wish to purchase additional tokens, you may do so by clicking the "Buy Credits" button at the top of this page. Once you click this button you will be brought to a PayPal page with options on purchasing additional tokens.

To assign a token to a client, find the client you would like to take the JPAQ survey and go to the column on the far right titled "action" and click "Assign Token." Doing this will bring you back to the "My Clients" page where you should see a message that states, "Token Assigned Successfully." Seeing this message indicated that the program has sent your client an email with instructions on how to take the JPAQ and a link to take the JPAQ from any standard internet browser.

Once a client has completed their survey you will see three options appear next to their name in the column titled "Action."

  • Clicking "Survey" will take you to a page with your client's JPAQ results in the format of a bar graph and their answers for each of the 72 true / false items.
  • Clicking "Client" will take you to the same page the client will be presented with once they complete the JPAQ, with the program's interpretation of their results, and a customized summery of their JPAQ results.
  • Clicking "Clinician" will take you to a page that only you will have access to with the program's interpretation of this client's results, and a detailed customized summery of their JPAQ results and how to work with this client and use redecision therapy with them based on their adaptions.
  • If a Client has not completed their survey, "Resend Email" will appear in the client's "Action" column. Clicking this will bring you back to the "My Clients" page where you should see a message that states "Email Sent" Seeing this message indicated that the program has sent your client the same email as the first one, with instructions on how to take the JPAQ and a link to take the JPAQ from any standard internet browser.

NAVAGATION:

  • Click "Resources" to learn about the development and how to use this program, to read an article on "How the Adaptations Function" and to read an article on Using Redecision Therapy with Different Personality Adaptations by Dr. Vann Joines.
  • Click "JPAQ Packet Material" to have access to the text content as well as other resources related to the Joines Personality Adaptation Questionnaire.
  • Click "My Clients" to add New Clients, review your clients and their survey results, purchase additional Tokens for surveys, review your remaining credits, and assign credits to clients to use for taking the survey.
  • Click "New Client" to go directly to adding a new client to your account.
  • Click "Manage Tokens" to Purchase additional tokens, see how many tokens you have remaining, un-assign an unused token from a client, or take a client with an assigned token to their survey for completion.
  • Click "Take Survey" to manually enter a token that has been assigned to a client so they can take the survey, or purchase one survey to be completed.
  • Click "My Profile" to update and complete your professional contact information.
  • Click "Log Out" to have the option to log out of your account.

LOGGING IN:

Go to: http://www.seinstitute.com/jpaq/

On the left hand side, in the two boxes provided, enter your user name and password and then click Log in. Given that you entered your user name and password correctly, you will be brought the clinician main page. From here you will see that you have options on what to do on the left.

If you have forgotten your user name click the link “forgot user name?” text. Doing this will bring you to a page with instructions to enter your email address that is associated with your JPAQ clinician’s account. Enter your email address and click the “submit” button. You will then receive an email with your user name.

If you have forgotten your password, click “forgot password?” text. Doing this will bring you to a page with instructions to enter your email address that is associated with your JPAQ clinician’s account. Enter your email address and click the “submit” button. You will then receive an email with a link that will take you to a page to create a new password for your account.

Purchase

To purchase a clinician’s account first go to: http://www.seinstitute.com/jpaq/ and click the “For Clinicians” link. You will then be taken a page where you will be given a brief overview of what is included with your purchase of a clinician account. Click the “Purchase Now!” link where you will be directed to a PayPal purchase page where you will be instructed on how to complete the purchase. Once you have completed your purchase through PayPal, you will be prompted to create an account with a user name and password.
